How Does MenoSense Work?

The product aims to help women feel more comfortable during menopause. It contains ingredients proven to ease symptoms like hot flashes and night sweats. MenoSense also has an impact on mood, lessening feelings of nervousness and irritability.

Who Is The Manufacturer Of MenoSense?

Menosense is manufactured by a company called Natural Factors Nutritional Products Inc, which is a Canadian organization founded in 1965. It’s located in Coquitlam, British Columbia, and produces vitamins, minerals, and natural supplements made of completely organic ingredients. They have their private farm where they derive the substances included in the products.

What Are The Ingredients In MenoSense?

There are several primary active ingredients in this supplement:

Black Cohosh – This is a root which is rich in phytochemicals. They can influence the endocrine system, which is why this substance is used to treat menopause symptoms [1]. An 8-week study in the Journal of Educational Health Promotion looked at the effects of black cohosh on menopausal women, and found that this substance significantly reduced hot flashes and improved quality of life.
Dong Quai – This is a plant native to China, also called Angelica sinensis. There’s evidence it can alter the amount of estrogen in your system. A study on women with breast cancer in Menopause found that dong quai exhibited a significant effect on levels of estrogen.
Hesperidin – This is a bioflavonoid that’s found in fruits and vegetables like lemons. It’s very rich in antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory properties [2]. It can reduce bloating associated with menopause. A study in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism showed that the combination of calcium and hesperidin improved bone health in post-menopausal women.
Chasteberry Extract – This is a fruit from the chaste tree, and it’s often used to treat menopausal symptoms. There is some link, but the evidence is not strong. It’s also used to treat fertility issues, and as an aphrodisiac [3].
Gamma Oryzanol – This is a substance derived from rice bran oil. There’s some evidence that it increases testosterone levels. It may also promote lean muscle growth and stimulate endorphins. It’s commonly used as a treatment for menopause symptoms [4].

The Science Behind MenoSense

This product includes ingredients that lessen menopause symptoms. Some substances contain phytoestrogens, which are plant-based substances that behave similarly to estrogen. The body then assumes there is more estrogen present, and this balances the hormones.

As a result, symptoms like hot flashes, mood swings, and night sweats diminish. Also, ingredients like chasteberry may influence the neurotransmitters and elevate mood. Finally, there are anti-inflammatory benefits in the product, which can decrease bloating.

What Are The Benefits of MenoSense?

  • This supplement eases the symptoms associated with menopause.
  • It uses completely natural ingredients.
  • The ingredients are backed by clinical studies.
  • The product is suitable for vegans.

What Are The Drawbacks Of MenoSense?

  • You have to take up to 4 capsules per day.
  • It contains a rice extract, which is a common allergen.
  • People with liver problems should not use this product.

Generally speaking, this product and the ingredients it contains are safe. There have been some cases of liver problems with people taking black cohosh, but it’s not completely clear whether this substance was the cause or others that were involved at the same time. When a woman is in menopause, her levels of estrogen drop quite a bit from what they were previously. This is what is responsible for some of the unpleasant symptoms like hot flashes and night sweats. Some of the ingredients in this supplement mimic the behavior of estrogen, which fools your body into thinking there’s more than there really is available. This helps to ease the symptoms. In addition, there are anti-inflammatory agents in this supplement which can help reduce bloating.

The recommended dosage is 2 capsules at breakfast and 2 more before you go to bed. Do not take more than 4 capsules per day under any circumstances.

Some of the ingredients in this product, such as black cohosh and dong quai, have clinical research backing up their efficacy at treating menopause symptoms. The ingredients in this supplement act as a replacement for estrogen, standing in for some of the hormones that diminishes with time. The product also has anti-inflammatory properties which ease bloating. The product should have some effect on menopause symptoms.

You should avoid this product if you have a liver problem, as black cohosh has sometimes led to liver difficulties if taken in high amounts [5]. According to the manufacturer, you should also avoid these if you’re taking blood thinners. In addition, hesperidin might slow blood clotting, which can increase the chance of bleeding. It may also lower blood pressure. Anyone with blood pressure issues or a clotting disorder should avoid this product [7].

You can take this product long-term, but the manufacturer suggests that you check in with your doctor again after a year to re-evaluate if it’s the right product for you.

    Manageable hot flashes
“MenoSense – I have been using this MenoSense for several months to control my hot flashes. I like this product. I recently experience light, but manageable hot flashes. I could subdue, maybe reduce my hot flashes if I took a more powerful dose. I usually take two pills daily, where the prescribed dose is two in the morning and two at night.
I started taking just only one pill a day. When that was not as effective as I needed I began taking two pills. The only things are this thing doesn’t have a long-lasting effect”
