Overview Of DermaFlash

DermaFlash is a device that is used for dermaplaning. For those that don’t know, dermaplaning is a popular exfoliation procedure in which the dermatologist uses a sharp surgical blade to shave off the top layers of the skin.

These layers are usually dead and are the main reason for the unevenness and roughness of the skin. The DermaFlash device is made for use at home, and it uses the same surgical blade used in dermaplaning to remove the top layer of dirt that most topical treatments can’t clear off from the skin. After a few days of use, the skin would look young and smooth.

How Does DermaFlash Work?

DermaFlash works by removing the dead skin layers from your face. It is a battery-powered device that consists of a sterile surgical scalpel that is capable of removing dead skin, peach fuzz, and built-up debris on the surface of the skin.

Who Is The Manufacturer Of DermaFlash?

DermaFlash is produced by the beauty icon popularly known as Dara. Her beauty routine revolved around dermaplaning, and it was a common practice for her for years. From her years of practice, she got instant results.

The treatment did wonders for her skin and made other skincare products she used to work more efficiently. She decided to offer the service of dermaplaning to women at her spa, but it turned out that it was quite expensive for several ladies. Five years later, an idea for a home-solution to this became a reality, and the device was born.

What Are The Ingredients In DermaFlash?

Sterile Scalpel – The DermaFlash device uses a scalpel that is also used in the process of dermaplaning. This scalpel is known to be able to remove the top layer of skin and the hair growing on the skin. It is made of sterile carbon steel blades that are capable of reaching structures of the skin that can’t be seen with the naked eyes.

What Are The Benefits of DermaFlash?

  • It is a painless and efficient way to exfoliate the top layer of the skin on the face.
  • This tool is perfect for those with sensitive skin.
  • The device can be used frequently on the face.
  • It lightens scars from previous acne outbreaks.
  • It improves the result of using makeup on the face.
  • It can be used by breastfeeding and pregnant women who need a deep exfoliation.
  • With its use, the hair doesn’t grow back thicker.

What Are The Drawbacks Of DermaFlash?

  • It is more expensive than other dermaplaning devices.
  • Results may vary depending on the user.
  • It cannot be used by people with active or cystic acne, as it can cause further irritation.

FAQs: Consumer Questions & Answers

DermaFlash is safe on the skin. This device can be used on the face and neck, and also suitable for teenagers. For those that are afraid of developing spots on the face, it is safe to say that the DermaFlash device is quite safe and would not cause the appearance of spots on the face after use.

The DermaFlash device costs about $199 on its official website.

There are three simple steps to follow when using DermaFlash. The first step is to prepare the skin by applying PreFlash. This is to ensure that you get the best results. Rinse after application and pat your face dry. The second step is to power on the DermaFlash device. You are to hold the skin taut with the other hand at this point to ensure that the device evenly reaches all the areas on the surface of the skin. Then with the device still powered on, take short feathery strokes across the skin to eliminate the dead skin cells. The final step is to apply and massage PostFlash on your face. This is to ensure that your skin is hydrated and it also soothes the skin.

There is no instance of DermaFlash offering a free trial. However, they have an active return policy with a full refund in 60 days. After making a complaint, you either get another product or a full refund. However, the refund policy does not cover shipping fees and handling fees.

Considering all factors, DermaFlash is an effective means to get rid of dead skin on the surface of the skin. In comparison to other dermaplaning devices, it is quite effective. However, its only drawback is its price. It is slightly more expensive, but this is justifiable. It is a battery-powered device that can be powered at two different speeds and produces fast results - a set of features that you might not find anywhere else.

There are no known side effects of DermaFlash. However, note that those with cystic or active acne should do their best to not use the device until their acne outbreak has been sorted out. It is also important to note that the effectiveness of the device depends on the user.

What Are Consumers Saying About DermaFlash?

Several DermaFlash reviews have reported seeing fantastic results from using the device. However, some customers aren’t getting their desired result and other customers aren’t even getting any results.

I didn't notice much of that either
Basically, This device works like a razor. This is really hard to get angled correctly. I don’t see any exfoliating benefits that I do when I use other scrubs. I think that the scrubs end up being better, this basically just is used for some hair removal thing. I didn’t notice much of that either. It’s just too much money for something like that.
